Each week, I spend time with students at the University of Hertfordshire, many of them far away from home and navigating life in a foreign country. Through sports, meals, small groups, and simple hangouts, we build real friendships. In those spaces, conversations about life, faith, and Jesus happen naturally.
Our Connect Circle groups help Christian students grow deeper in their walk with Jesus, and it’s been amazing to see non-Christian students feel safe enough to ask honest, sometimes difficult questions about faith. For many of them, Connect Circle is their first personal experience of an intentional and authentic community.
What makes this ministry special to me is the community we are building, a safe space where students feel known, supported, and loved, leading to their open-heartedness.
This ministry is sustained through generous giving, which helps make possible weekly activities like sports and social events where we meet new students, three outreach trips each year, away days and overnights, as well as ongoing support that enables me to continue investing fully in this work. All our activities are opportunities to show up consistently in students' lives, deepen relationships and open doors to faith stories.
On 4th July 2026, I will be walking with a few friends to raise £2,000 out of my year goal of £8,000. I’d love for you to be a part of this and would really value your support and partnership to enable me continue this life-transforming work.
